About Mark

After working in the family school bus business for 7 years, in January 2011 I decided to buy the business and rebrand as Express Coach Lines. I started off with a small fleet of vehicles primarily doing school charter work and one kilometric government school contract. In May 2019 I purchased Underwood Bus Service which added a number of private school runs to my portfolio. After lockdowns and fallout from Covid - 19 in early 2019, I decided to focus the business heavily on contracted school runs and, as a result, I have shifted away from the volatile charter market. This has been a sound business decision and I am now wanting to become involved as a committee member to aid other operators, small and large and be apart of the voice that supports our industry.
